Johnston Press losses deepen
but ad slump easing
Published Date: 28 August 2009
NEWSPAPER group Johnston Press today revealed further pain from the advertising slump as it reported widened half-year
losses of £94.2m.
It said it had axed another
439 jobs to take its workforce down to 5,969 in the first half, following a 15 per cent headcount cull last year.
PO12BG says…maybe if Johnston Press reported ALL the news instead of ‘force feeding’
the pubic on ‘half truths’ their revenue problems would
desist..
The News is a jolly local rag owned
by Johnson Press which is another arm of PCC and does not know the meaning of the word, impartial. The News reporters
write their little reports, with pens earnestly steaming away and then run along to the editor, scribbled notes neatly tucked
into their tight gymslips. Big Editor man, immediately puts them into his laundry basket, gives them a jolly good washing
to take out those naughty, nasty words of truth. Turns out Big Editor man has Barabus's hanging mate in
his contact list on his mobile. Word up, in the hood was truth ain't really in the full ten commandments, if you
get my drift, so truth was ousted out of all reports. It was decided good old Pompey would crash into
oblivion if truth was suddenly thrust into its face. According to bibical reports, (by The News) high on Mount Sinai
it was decreed, etched in stone, that whatever The News reported, the good folk of Pompey will be fooled into believing,
all the fires are safely glowing on the home-front in the glory of truth. If only The News were bestowed into sainthood, then
we’d all be safe, heads held so high, breath always directed into the wind of integrity, in the sound knowledge
that the words BULLS and HIT will never become joined, as long as our news is totally controlled by Johnston Press via
Portsmouth City Council.

Alex Forsythe (News Reporter) requests we sent her this
picture of Hancock parked in a doctors parking space, a
news-worthy story wouldn’t you all agree. However, The
News refuses to publish the story because it’s anti-Hancock.
The News is too afraid of the Almighty Hancock to provide
you with impartial reporting. Don’t rely on The News for
the real news, they are too heavily in the pockets of PCC

Lord Mayor's car in disabled space
Published Date:
28 July 2009
This was published by The News when the Lord Mayor’s car
is parked in a disabled bay. But where is the Hancock story
when he parked in a Doctors parking bay? Now you can see
how The News is selective in its reports due to its unhealthy
links with PCC. Where is the impartiality in this situation?

ANOTHER
HANCOCK STORY THE NEWS REFUSED TO PUBLISH!
This is a letter Cllr Jacqui Hancock hand delivered to
pensioners
who live in Sydenham Court, Fratton.
She was supposed to attend a meeting but forgot and
then in
a state of panic, she and Cllr Margaret Foster
personally delivered this letter to all the residents.
In this letter she
writes, ‘I told my two ward
colleagues the wrong venue for the meeting.’
We
interviewed the two councillors and have recorded
them saying they knew nothing of any meeting. Which
means
this letter from Cllr Jacqui Hancock is full of lies.
We told The News about this story and they ignored
it!
By now you are getting the picture, The News
won’t print anything negative about Hancock.
Why?
Because The News isn’t interested in you.
