Below are emails sent from various Portsmouth City

Councillors, who are conspiring to prevent a member of

the public (Mark Austin) from speaking at council meetings.

What this means to you the voting, tax-paying,

Portsmouth resident is these councillors are conspiring

to take away your ‘FREEDOM OF SPEECH’ which is in

direct defiance of Lib Dem policy.

As councillors, it isn’t for them to decide who

gets to speak in the chamber. You all have the

right to ask questions and make deputations.

For these councillors to forbid you to speak is nothing

short of censorship and there is no democracy with censorship.
